The ACE Module has Reset.
I would like to know why that Reset.

Help..

can you post the show ver please

also do a dir and post that please to see if it created a crash file

Explanation    The specified module did not respond to a critical message. This condition indicates a hardware error and might be a transient error only. The system has reset the module to fix the error.

Recommended Action    If this message recurs, copy the message exactly as it appears on the console or in the system log. Research and attempt to resolve the issue using the tools and utilities provided at http://www.cisco.com/tac. With some messages, these tools and utilities will supply clarifying information. Search for resolved software issues using the Bug Toolkit at http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Support/Bugtool/launch_bugtool.pl. ACE Software

and..There is no crash file.

sorry I meant the full show version from the 6500 that the ace module is in , in the show version there should be a section last reload reason

If its only happened once the mod could be ok if it happens again it will need to be replaced ,you could try upload the show tech to the output interpreter on Cisco website it may give you more information but as above from Cisco website the module did not respond and reset itself to fix the issue, if its continual likely the module is gone faulty

Kindly get me the following outputs:-

Attach to the module and run the following command:-

 remote login module 4

Show ver

Show log

Dir core: >> check if there are any core file generated here. if yes then collect the same.

There is no crash file has been generated on the box.

So i am assuming it could be due to the following bug:-
