We have a VIP address with a corresponding DNS record. However the application owner wants to come a few directories "deeper" in the structure. Is this possible with help of the CSS ??

could you please be more specific.
Are saying you want the initial page to be redirected
to /to/deeper/in/the/structure/index.html ?
If so, you can do it with first a content rule to catch request to '/' and then use a redirect command
to forward the traffic to the corresponding file 'deeper' in the structure.

That is what I want to do. Are you saying that i can catch the first request and then have a redirect "//dnsname.ee.nu/deeper/deep" in the content rule ? And it would be possible to catch different requests and forward to different "deeper" structures eg. url" /one" redirect "//one/deepone"
and url "two" redirect "//two/deeptwo"
Thanks !

yes you can do this.
Just configure one content rule and one service
for everything you want to catch and redirect.
An example is at :
There they catch everything with a 'url /*' but you could limit the catch to something specific
