Hi,
I am planning to install a Hyper-V version of WAAS central manager and I have downloaded the file from Cisco site. There are 2 questions I would like to seek for advice. Currently we are running the WAAS CM on VMWare platform.
1. The file I've downloaded is "Hv-Cisco-vCM-100N-6.2.3b-b-22.zip". Is this a VM image or an installer file that I can install on Window server machine?
2. Do I have to request a new license for the new installed Hyper-V WAAS CM? If so how do I obtain the license?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Jeff

Hi Jeff,
Ad 1) : According to the manual it looks as though it can be both - manual :
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/app_ntwk_services/waas/vwaas/vwaas-623/vwaas-install-config/v-hyperv.html#98498
Ad 2) : If you already have the license for the ESXi image, and I'm assuming that your migrating from that, you have already purchased the LIC-VCM-100N so it should be a problem.
The license is not Hypervisor specific.
Best Regards
Finn
