VPC Behavior when "peer-link" is down and "peer-switch" command is used

Hi,
I know that If vPC peer-link is down, but keep-alive link is up, the vPC secondary peer will suspend all its vPC port-channels. And when the vPC peer-link comes back up, the vPC secondary switch will surely bring back up all its vPC channels. That is OK.
My question here, is when I use the command "peer-switch" under the VPC config, so the two switches in the domain will share the same Bridge ID for STP, is there any differnece in comportement and reaction when the peer-link is down again ?
Thanks.
