VRRP issue on CSS both CSS become Master same time!!!!

Hi All,

We have 2 content switches(CSS11509-K9) and i want to impement VRRP.Both of the switches are getting Master when i configure it.

It was working fine previously on another location i removed it and connected in my company and here is the problem.

I have also tried to interconnect the cSS over just one switch but it didn't work..

Kindly let me know if i am doing anything wrong here or is there any issue with the STP or the vlans or FW blocking multicast IP traffic 224.0.0.18 and IP protocol number 112.

Any help would be greatly appricaited. Thanks in advance

One possibility is that this site is already using the virtual router number you have configured. While this may not be likely, it is worth checking.

Hi,

Try disabling the ACL and then reconfige the ACL's to permit any protocol and enable the ACL's.

Example:-

acl 10

clause 20 permit any any destination any

apply circuit-(VLANabc)

this should solve your issue.
