WAAS configured policy vs Negotiated Policy

I am working on an issue with Cisco and trying to remove DRE and LZ from all traffic destined to port 2598. I have the policy configure to only apply TFO but still seeing new connections getting DRE and LZ. The policy is correct on both peers but when I look at the policy details for a given connection, it shows the "Negotiated Policy" still includes DRE and LZ. I have not run into this issue before. Wondering if anyone knows what might be causing this. Running software release 5.5.7a

Hi Rob,

TCP port 2598 is part of the Citrix optimization policy.

Have you placed your policy in the top, to ensure that it's processed before any default optimization policies ?

Otherwise you risk hitting the default Citrix policy before yours.

Try issuing these commands in both ends :

show class-map type waas Citrix

show class-map type waas <your class-map>

and monitor the flow matches !
