Can someone point me to documentation, or explain exactly what it means when you are looking at a particular flow in the WAAS GUI after you click on the magnifying glass for details? Specifically, what does it mean under Traffic Statistics when it says:
READ: Original Optimized
Write: Origianl Optimized
Total: Original Optimized
I'm not sure what each one means exactly in the course of a traffic flow (which side does the read apply to and which side does the write apply to). Also, what does it means if the read, or write optimized number is bigger than the original number?
Thanks in advance.

James,
These are all on a per connection basis.
Read Original - Traffic volume coming from the local client that is not optimized.
Read Optimized - Traffic volume coming from another WAE (usually over the WAN) that has been optimized via TFO/LZ/DRE/AO.
Write Original - Traffic volume being sent to local client unoptimized.
Write Optimized - Traffic volume being send across WAN to remote WAE that has been optimized.
Total - Total volume of traffic being received and sent to local clients verses remote that is optimized.
Hope this helps,
Dan
