We currently have a WAAS 7341 deployed at our central location and are in the process of upgrading that hardware to a 7371. Can I simply build the new server with the same OS version and then copy the configuration from the 7341 to the 7371, or is there a specific procedure I need to follow to upgrade the hardware?

We'd need a bit more information before saying for sure. What version of WAAS? If 4.1, are you running in CIFS native mode or legacy? If 4.1, are you using SSL Acceleration?
If 4.1 using native CIFS (not legacy) and no SSL acceleration, what you're proposing should work.
Thanks, Steve

You might need to explain a bit more what you mean by CIFS legacy mode and no SSL acceleration. We are running version 4.1.1c, and are using the devices to optimize traffic between our main site and several remote locations. We are definately doing CIFS acceleration, but I'm not sure how to tell if it is legacy or native.
