I'm new to Cisco WAAS, so hopefully this is a simple issue. I am deploying vWAAS appliances on UCS E-series blades running in ISR 4351s, and I have vWAAS and vCM appliances running at HQ.
For reasons I'm not understanding, I can't get the WCCP connection between the WAAS appliance and the ISR to work. I get "WCCP router 1.2.3.4 unreachable for service id: 61" and "WCCP router 1.2.3.4 unreachable for service id: 62" errors.
The WAAS appliance and the routers are layer 2 adjacent. Well, the management interface of the ISR is on the same network as the WAAS appliance. I am able to ping from the WAAS to the IP of the ISR.
I've run the WCCP commands on the ISR, and specified the LAN and WAN interfaces.
At least according to the quick setup guide I think I've done everything right, but something isn't working. Any suggestions?
