WCCP support on IOS XE Software 3.3.0 SG

Hi ,

I tried to change my main switch devices

few month ago, but I couldn't. because the new devices not support to the WAAS.

Recently, CISCO has released new S/W for the new device to support WAAS. The new S/W only support the WCCP version 2.

If we are using the WCCP version1, can we change to the WCCP version 2 ?

Is it possible to optimse the traffic while using WCCP v1 at one end  and WCCP v2 at other.

Switch Model : WS-C4507R+E (Supervisor Engine 7-E)

IOS version : IOS XE Software 3.3.0 SG

Hi Ameen,

WCCP is supported in your current Switch model on IOS XE 3.3.0SG on IP Base or Enterprise Services IOS,  it won't work on LAN Base IOS.
