This is an opportunity to learn how service providers and system integrators offer the Cisco suite of Unified Communication and Collaboration applications from the cloud to multiple customers with common management tools with Scott Boynton. As a senior manager of product management in the IP Communications Business Unit (IPCBU), Scott leads a team developing Cisco's Hosted Unified Communications Services offering. His team’s focus covers eight business unit products and five third party vendor products coalesced into a solution for service providers and systems integrators. Scott joined Cisco in 1997 and has held various product management positions in service provider and enterprise segments. Prior to his IPCBU position, he had the responsibility of defining and launching the record breaking Catalyst 3750 Ethernet Switch. Earlier in his career, he led the product team that developed the AS5350/AS5400 dial/voice gateways and drove them to #1 market share. Prior to joining Cisco, he held a telecom engineering role with American Express rolling out remote access across eighteen countries enabling their first mobile workforce. Scott is a graduate of Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff Arizona where he received a master's in information systems with an undergraduate degree in telecommunications.
