DHCP Status: new-host1 MAC: 00:00:0C:00:00:00

Every now and then, we can see a "new-host1" with a MAC 00:00:0C:00:00:00 in the DHCP Status:

Client Table

Client Host NameIP AddressMAC AddressClient Lease TimeDelete
static-host192.168.1.nnn00:50:43:nn:nn:nn23 Hours, 18 Minutes, 25 Seconds
static-host192.168.1.nnn00:nn:nn:nn:nn:nn22 Hours, 34 Minutes, 10 Seconds
new-host1192.168.1.10500:00:0C:00:00:0052 Seconds

Not digged to deep into the background yet - hope anybody here has some ideas.

The network is (pretty much) an isolated network - just a hand full of Cisco devices, and a Windows Vista test system:

Kurt,

I've been neglected this forum and just realized that you've posted a couple issues here.

I'm seeing the same thing in my router too. Will ask design/engineering team about this.

Regards,

Even worse: We see the same MAC logged on other DHCP servers, for example on a neighbouring network we connected to a WAN port. Disconnecting RV0xx-V3 stops it.
