Trying to set a VLAN on SPA122 (Network-->Advanced settings-->VLAN) is possible to choose "Enable" and insert VLAN ID, but submitting new configuration weg GUI shows: "Changes cannot be applied while calls are in progress. Please try again when phones are idle". Note that no phone connected on Phone1/Phone 2 port and then no call is in progress. Also reset SPA122 to factory configuration is impossible, the same message is shown.
I reset it with "Reset" hard key on ATA and I've reconfigured it. Also after this troubleshooting I can't set VLAN ID.

Hello Alessandro,
Can you confirm what version of firmware you are running on the SPA122?
I have posted v1.0.2(003) on the Paton EFT web site.
The error message you are receiving on your SPA122 appears when a configuration change is submitted, but the SPA122 is active on a call. A voice module reboot is required in order for the change to take affect, but the SPA122 will inform the user if a call is in progress to prevent the call from being cut-off.
Since your SPA122 is not on an active call, it may be best to perform a Factory Reset using the IVR:
Plug a phone into the Phone 1 port
Press ****
Enter 73738
Press 1 to confirm
The SPA122 will then reset back to the factory defaults and you can then configure the device.
Please let us know if you continue to experience issues with the SPA122.
regards,
-Lance

Thanks for your reply. I'll try to reset back to factory defaults and upgrade to 1.0.2 (003), but the problem is still present.
Probabily it's a harware problem, we'll try soon to a new hardware.

Hello All,
I reproduced the issue also on a new hardware.
After further analisys I can assert that it's possibile to set VLAN on a not configured ATA (After factory reset), but uploading a configuration converted from a SPA2102 (with command line tool provided by Cisco) it's not possible to change VLAN settings. After "Submit" the message "Changes cannot be applied while calls are in progress. Please try again when phones are idle" is shown.

Hi Alessandro,
Can you provide some additional details for us to troubleshoot:
What version of firmware is on the SPA122?
How did you convert the SPA2102 configuration? With the SPC Tool? Which version?
Can you post your SPA2102 and SPA122 configuration for us to review?
Thank you,
-Lance Harper

Hi,
we are testing SPA122 with 1.02.003 firmware and we convert SPA2102 configuration with SPC tool version spa122-1-0-2-003-spc-win32-i386.
Our configuration is reported below.
NOTE: In order to set VLAN we edit the tag:
and then we load the edited configuration.
Could you give us a feedback about this issue?

Hi Lance,
we have the same problem also after upgrade to 1.0.2(006).
Could you give us a feedback? Did you notice problems in our converted configuration?
Thanks.
Alessandro
