Problems with discovery

I have installed a new PER710 server at customer # 1168 over 4 hours ago and it has not show in the portal as of yet.  Also at customer #1169 I had a couple of devices go off line today but they have been back online and accessable via the portal but show as being disconnected, is there a problem with discovery?

Hi Danny, can you let us know the local IP address and server's MAC address so that we can take a look?

Thanks Danny. Stepping through customer 1168's TBA logs we found a bug in the 5.5 discovery code that blocks any further discovery from happening. We're working on a resolution now, and new firmware will wind up being pushed to all TBAs after dev-test has a chance to approve the fix.

We've just pushed a fresh 5.5 release to the portal, as TBAs reboot they should pick up the new patch that fixes discovery. They should automatically do this during their nightly maintenance period, but you can trigger a reboot now on any TBAs if you wish to pick up the fix immediately.

A small bonus for WMI users was included with this fix. Some additional WMI discovery information is now presented when available, including the SystemEnclosure and BaseBoard (motherboard) Serial Numbers, and an Asset Tag if it is known to the Windows machine.

Thanks, it is working now.
