Guys we simply must have the option to send a text message to ANY cell phone that's capable of receiving it. Come on, you have Illinois Valley Cellular (among other tiny and irreverent carriers) but not Carolina West Wireless who provides the best coverage for a large portion of NW North Carolina. I doubt any of these other carriers have enough market share to justify being on the system, but if you're going to support one tiny carrier you have to support all of them. At this point a majority of our customers would not be able to get any notifications.
It's just so simple to have an "Other" and let us enter our specific number@carrier.com text message address. In all actuality my Verizon # listed in my account doesn't work if you're sending to ##########@vtext.com because I don't allow that in my account, I require a specific address (Verizon allows its customers to disallow texting to the #@vtext.com to prevent spam and it's VERY effective).
So the question is will this happen or has the TBA's notification inadequacy made it much less attractive as a tool?

We will have this in drop 4. Thanks for the feedback.

EU testers have joined, so this limitation is a real issue now...

What was the original timeline for Drop 4?
TIA,

We could patch the current drop to include the carriers you need, until a generic option is implemented in a future drop. Please give us the carrier name and email suffix for each, and we will add them ASAP to the site.
Thanks,

For our area Carolina West Wireless is important. They are cwwsms.com. Thanks...

Thanks Brian, we'll get that one added shortly. Sorry for the lack of a generic sms carrier option, we'll remedy that soon because of your feedback.
