Unable to enter credentials on 8Port Switch

When scanning the network it does pick up the 8port POE switch that is included, but it always tells me the are not valid. I know the credentials work and am able to log into the switch and configure it via the web interface.

John,

This may be coming from a race condition with the topology screen.  Can you try entering the credentials for the device into the topology movie and then just let them cook for an hour or two?  We're working on a fix for the race condition, but if you give it enough time we've seen these problems self-correct.  Basically, the discovery is running after you have input the credentials, but before the TBA has retrieved and processed/decoded the new authentication information, so it takes a few rounds of discovery to run before discovery is able to use the new credentials and then update the portal that the device is now accessible using the new credentials.

It is no longer complaining that the device needs credentials, but it does not seem to have any "actions" associated with it like the wireless AP, is this normal?

Does any one have an answer to this? Are we supposed have additional actions with the switch?

John, sorry for not getting back to this sooner on this one.  Word from the dev team is that there are currently no available actions for the ESW switch via the Edit Device > Settings tab, although a 'reboot device' feature is planned.  There should be Backup/Restore functionality under another tab however.
