Hi,
our Company has implemented a few phone services. Now we have trouble with the 78xx-Series. It is not possible to send an empty formular (CiscoInput). The phone shows the submit button only when one or more characters are entered in the formular.
Following phone loads are testeted:
Example XML:
<CiscoIPPhoneInput>

${site.name}

<Prompt>Optionale Suchparameter</Prompt>

<InputItem>
<DisplayName><fmt:message key="General.Lastname"/></DisplayName>
<QueryStringParam>ln</QueryStringParam>
<InputFlags>U</InputFlags>
<DefaultValue>${lastname}</DefaultValue>
</InputItem>
<InputItem>
<DisplayName><fmt:message key="General.Firstname"/></DisplayName>
<QueryStringParam>fn</QueryStringParam>
<InputFlags>U</InputFlags>
<DefaultValue>${firstname}</DefaultValue>
</InputItem>
<InputItem>
<DisplayName><fmt:message key="General.Number"/></DisplayName>
<QueryStringParam>dn</QueryStringParam>
<InputFlags>T</InputFlags>
<DefaultValue>${dirnr}</DefaultValue>
</InputItem>
<SoftKeyItem>
<Position>1</Position>

<fmt:message key="General.Search"/>

</SoftKeyItem>
<SoftKeyItem>
<Position>3</Position>

<

SoftKey:<<

</SoftKeyItem>
<SoftKeyItem>
<Position>2</Position>

<fmt:message key="General.Back"/>

</SoftKeyItem>
</CiscoIPPhoneInput>
The corporated directory from CUCM 9.1.2 create almost identical XML Data and in this place is the submit button showing without entering characters.
Thank you very much and best regards,
Mathias Tonn

Hi Mathias,
I think the user then enters data into each input item and sends the parameters to the target URL. If there is no ciscoipphone input then i think it could be using the localization and XML Directory Service. Not sure just put my thoughts after refering to
Thanks and Regards,

Hi Geevarghese,
the localization is no problem. The users want to send an empty formular, to see the full list of entries. This is not possible, because the submit button is only visible, if one of the input fields has content. On 79xx,99xx or 69xx devices the submit button is always present.
Thanks and Regards,
Mathias

Hi Mathias,
I'll check with the phone team to see if there is a workaround or what can be done to fix this.
Thanks,
Adrienne
