Cisco Web Communicator chrome extension does not work with 11.8 jabber sdk

Hello,

I installed the 11.8 jabber sdk on a windows 7 SP1 machine and the newSample/sample.html does not work. It shows the warning "Synchronous XMLHttpRequest on the main thread is deprecated because of its detrimental effects to the end user's experience. For more help, check https://xhr.spec.whatwg.org/." when it executes the cwic_plugin.js a.open("GET","chrome-extension://"+b.cwicExtId+"/extProps.json",!1). This warning is reported in the xhr specifications under https://xhr.spec.whatwg.org/#the-open()-method

Does anybody have the same issue?

hi Javier, Jabber engineering has tentatively identified this as a new issue with Chrome 55.  A code fix has been completed, and plan to deliver a maintenance release - stand by...
