CiscoIPPhoneStatusFile transparency

Hi,

Is it possible to set the transparency of a CiscoIPPhoneStatusFile on 88xx or 89xx phones so (some of) the background is still visible?

Now a white block is shown, even if the image is smaller than the maximum size of a Status window.

Unfortunately transparency is not supported - one trick that we've seen developer use is to incorporate a portion of the phone screen background image into the image being shown in the CiscoIPPhoneStatusFile (using the maximum available size of the image to increase the illusion of transparency).  This of course requires that the background image be known/fixed and that the image specified in CiscoIPPhoneStatusFile aligns with the background pixel-perfectly...

After some more internal testing we discovered that the 89xx and 99xx do support transparency. By sending a png with a transparent background, it will show the background transparent through the image.

On the 88xx series, if you send a png with transparency it will show the white background.

It also gets a white border of 8 pixels or so.
