I am a developer working on creating a real-time interpretation app as an Embedded APP in Webex.
Our real-time interpretation app is built with React and Spring, and it converts speech to text and then translates it using the system microphone as the input.
However, we are encountering an issue where the system microphone picks up the other party's voice coming through the speakers, causing an echo.
We have been trying very hard to solve this problem, but it is extremely difficult to do so without a loopback, and we are almost at the point of giving up.
As a last resort, I am reaching out to inquire if there is a way to receive the audio stream directly from Webex. If we could get the audio stream, it would be very easy to solve the problem of the other party's voice being recognized as our own.
Is there a way to obtain an echo-free audio stream from the Webex Embedded App?
Also, I would like to know if there is an event reception method to detect when the user's Webex microphone is turned on/off.
