Is there a way to authenticate with a web server when accessing it via an IP Phone? Ideally a way embed the authentication information into the request or even have the user type in the information? I know some browsers allow you to specify it in the URL and then convert it for you, like username:password@x.x.x.x/home.html, not sure if the phone supports this? Or maybe there is a way to add headers to the request? Thanks for any insights!
