Is it mandate to have same protocol for webserver and BOSH URL

As I get below message in console:

BOSH URL has different protocol than Web-server: https: != http:

Hi Sapna,

The BOSH URL should be  http://cups_server:7335/httpbinding

I would request you to refer - Problems installing a HTTPS-enabled proxy for AJAX XMPP Library on apache
