I've come across the requirement of user to get extension number from local database. I want to have Jabber retrieve some address book (directory) that is not in LDAP. I knowthat Jabber only gets address book from LDAP or CUCM database.
I know that using UDS Jabber retrieves address book from CUCM database (end user) that is synchronizing data from LDAP.
The thing is I have to use UDS somehow (according to limitation of less-VPN). What I think of is to have it synchronize with LDAP at let's say midnight. I will update database (end user table) after that.
My question are:
1) Using UDS mode, can we change or edit data in End User Table (CUCM database)?
2) Can we tell jabber to retrieve data at specified fields? so that we can get the extension we specified (update)
