Unity Connection Call Handler to prompt caller for DN, transfer direct to voice mailbox
I know the cool trick for CUCM phones to dial directly to a unity mailbox with a *XXXXX wildcard - it works great, but we have an integration setup with a Nortel PBX over SIP trunk. The Nortel side can't dial *XXXXX ... and from Call Pilot they are used to an "Express Messaging DN" that they dial. When dialled, it says something like "Express messaging, enter mailbox". (did I bring back any Meridian Mail memories for some of you?)
So I'd like to create a call handler to mimic this for now until we complete our migration.
Call Handler, prompts callers for DN, then transfers *directly* to the voice mailbox if it exists, vs transferring back to the DN on the CUCM side.
