A9K-MPA-8X10GE wont shape over 4Gbs

Hi All,

I am trying to shape a 10G interface at a full 10G out on an A9K-MPA-8X10GE. I am running 5.3.3. I am able to shape only at a max of 4Gbs...Anything over 4Gbs and the service policy either won't install on the interface or it does install and commit but when you show policy map at the interface it shows "service policy not installed".

Anyone else dealing with this?

hi Bill,

There's a limitation on flat shaper rate. Try pushing the shaper to a child level, that should do the trick.
