Has anyone encounter this issue on an ASA running BGP. We are currently running a redundant GRE tunnel over two different carries and using BGP to inject or remove routes from the routing table based on which peer is active. Currently i'm running into an issue where the VPN tunnels are both up to both peers, however there are no routes injected into the routing table and I see the message below in the logs:
Sep 18 05:56:06 DSM-FW01 local6 : %ASA-6-418018: neighbor 169.254.80.1 IPv4 Unicast topology base removed from session Unknown path error
Sep 18 05:56:06 DSM-FW01 local6 : %ASA-6-418018: neighbor 169.254.80.1 Down NSF peer closed the session
The only way to get the tunnel to start passing traffic again is by bouncing the tunnels.
Current hardware is 5525x running code 9.12(1)
