The work around above did not work for me.
I lost my presence in Outlook after Jabber upgrade.
I upgraded from
Jabber 11.1.2 --> Jabber 11.6.0
I run Outlook 2010
Restart of Outlook did not fix the problem
I uninstalled Jabber but it did not fix the problem
Even without Jabber the presence in Outlook does not come back.
Is there any hint what Jabber is updating?
