CSCut63262 - ISE BYOD Apple iOS does not accept certificate chain with 4 certificates

We are using a godaddy SSL cert that has 4 certs in the chain. Go daddy says there is nothing they can do for us, but pointed us to OpenSSL. Is there anything we can do to modify the chain?

I am wondering if you were ever able to resolve this issue?  Same issue with InCommon.

seems to be still an issue.
