CSCve98689 - Repeated CDP-4-DUPLEX_MISMATCH is observed when 1852 and 3802 APs are connected to 3850 switch.

Hello,

the same symptoms occurred on the switch WS-C3650-48TS and connected AP Air-AP2802E-E-K9.

Duplex on both devices is same - FULL.

Workaround - disable CDP on the switch interface.

Did you try rebooting the switch? Could you share the interface configuration you have on the switch?

the switch was rebooted 9 weeks ago and now is not possible to reboot it again.

I believe the speed and duplex is negotiated between the switch and the APs. Did you try manually configuring the duplex to Full and enable CDP?

Same issue with same workaround vWLC Version 8.5.120.0 WS-C3850-48U and 2802i Access Points. Tried every to set speed 1000 duplex full on switchports before adding to etherchannel. Tried adding one port at a time...workaround resolves issue. Definitely a bug. Thanks for the heads up and workaround +5
