CSCvh48269 - Stack member loses connection to active on single cable auth failure

Hello,

Has anyone had these same symptoms on software version 16.3.7?

I had a switch stack reboot and now one of the stack ports is un-useable.
-I tried replacing the stack module as well as the stacking cable however the switch would still show Stack port 1 on switch 1 failed to authenticate during the boot and then just stay there. Mean while the switch member 2 booted completely leaving half of a production line not working.

Please let me know if anyone else has seen this issue using WS-C3650-48FQM-S switches on software version 16.3.7

Just had this issue with an 3650-48pd running 16.3.6.  Replacing Cables didn't work so I tried a new stack module and that fixed it.  Never checked to see if just re-seating the stack module would have done the same.
