I have a UCSB-B200-M4 that has been reporting major faults the past week. The faults being thrown are below:
Affected object: sys/chassis-1/sw-slot-2/host/port-6
Description: TCA: etherErrStats rcvDelta for sys/chassis-1/sw-slot-2/host/port-6 , current-value = 14, raised above esc value 5
Cause: threshold-crossed
Code: F37343
The affected object is all 6 of the backplane ports (3 on each FI-IO module). The faults appear then clear, so I figured it was related to this bug, especially since the UCS was running 4.0(1c)A. Unfortunately, after upgrading UCS infrastructure & server firmware to 4.0(2d)A, the major faults are still appearing and clearing repeatedly, so I'm not positive this is related to this bug, or maybe there's more to the bug.
I've checked all the interfaces on our Nexus switches that the UCS are connected to, and there are no errors being reported on the switch side, these errors appear to just be on the UCS side.
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this? Unfortunately, this system does not have an active service contract that I can tell, so I can't open a TAC case.

Hi,
Were you able to solve this issue? We encountered a similar issue and it seems that it was triggered due to a faulty cable.

Actually, these errors went away on their own without changing any cables or modifying any settings
