CSCvw95683 - Cat1000 freeze, unexpectedly silent reboot and crash issue occurred randomly

I'm observing the same behavior with a C1000-24T-4X-L running on 15.2(7)E3k. Happens randomly, just recently after only 5 hours of uptime.

Fixed version 15.2(7)E4 has been released recently.
I just wanted to let you know.

We have same problem on 15.2(7)E2 so contacted to TAC.

According to them, fixed version 15.2(7)E4 will be released in the end of May.

I have just been made aware that recent deliveries of Catalyst 1000 have been shipped with 15.2(8)E firmware.  

1.  Contrary to the information found in the Bug ID which notes 15.2(8)E to be in the Known Fix Version, this bug is still present in IOS version 15.2(8)E.  

2.  15.2(8)E have been removed from being downloaded.  An error message now appears when attempting to access this version:  

Selected 15.2.8E is no longer available for download. Click Ok to go to the Latest Release version

 Anyone who has received switches running 15.2(8)E need to downgrade the firmware of the switch.
