The DNA Network Automation Platform, does not inform us of its OWN invalid upgrade path, and proceeds to BRICK itself? I believe it is not too much to ask that Cisco put out a priority hotfix to every DNA Center on earth next week, that resolves this bug.
Ad a simple If-Then statement to the upgrade script which halts the upgrade with Unsupported Upgrade Path. I would have been fine going through multiple upgrades to not have to rebuild my system from scratch. This is the type of QC, that has got to get in to the heads of your development team. It would take no more than a single meeting to discuss potential issues customers could face and someone would mention that an older DNAC version will brick the system. Follow up question from management would be : Okay so we are preventing that with the upgrade script correct? (NO) So it is not yet ready for release then. Next issue?
