This bug CSCwb17117 - [SR]Functional-Device reprovision fails with NCSO20470: error in retrieval of the ISE PAN IP address still exists with Version 2.3.5.5-70026. We received this error after doing a LAN Automation to add a new switch stack to an existing site and trying to provision it.
The CLI command listed in the workaround does not work. I was able to do it via the GUI:
Using the GUI - System - System 360 find the network-design-service, have two options:
1) look at the Service Explorer tab and find the service in one of the hosts.
2) look at the Hosts - click on each of the View # Services to find the service.
Once you locate it, click restart - this does take a few minutes.
After it has started again go to System - Settings - Authentication and Policy Servers - and edit your ISE entry and re-enter your password.
After doing this we were able to provision successfully.
