Easy enough question? Cisco Site ID...

I have what's probably an easy question to answer...

I have received a smartnet quote from our Cisco Distributor...

The devices on the quote are all at the same exact location, but I see that the quote lists TWO site ID#'s for this location.

Obviously, one company name has "corporation", and one does not.

A data entry error at some point int the past...

My question:

Does this matter?

I'm thinking it does, so a Cisco rep looking up our account, would see ALL of our devices in this one location...

In other words, should I have the devices in site "40460..." changed to "40170..."?

Thanks for any feedback!!!

Hello Kathy,

Correcting the multiple site ID's for one location should make it easier for Cisco to see and identify devices during service.

Your Cisco Distributor should be able to update the site ID information using the Cisco Service Contract Center (CSCC).  Here are 2 links you may want to share with your contact:

CSCC - Request to Edit Install Site Contact and Address

CSCC - Address Management

Thank you,
