I got DNA center up and running and I am able to access the CIMC and the GUI web page but when I try to log in for the first time it keeps saying that my credentials are invalid? I am pretty sure I am typing the password correctly but is there a way to reset this password through CIMC? I did some research and found that you can reset it through loading into recovery mode within grub but when I do that it seems like it freezes after a few seconds.. I also cant get into the Maglov cli since the credentials are "incorrect".
Any suggestions?

Hello,
Yes you can reset the maglev password throuh CIMC but you will have to boot it from a "live CD".

Hi,
I went through all the steps. And when i rebooted the appliance I tried entering in the password and still nothing? Any other suggestions? I downloaded the correct Ubuntu ISO file, mapped the DVD to CIMC, booted to that ISO file, when i got into ubuntu i launched the terminal to create a temp directory to mount the root and var files, i also verified that the maglev account is not locked (there was no ! in front of the password hash), I checked to see if the password attempts has been maxed out (weird thing is that the counter was at 0?) lastly I created a new password for maglev by using "passwd maglev". From here I rebooted and when i got prompted for the credentials I used login: admin password:<passphrase created> and I am still unable to log in?
