Configuring old Cisco Catalyst 3560 switch for Voice VLAN

I'm wondering if anyone could please help, or point me into the right direction. As a task, I've been asked to decommission our old HP ProCurve 2626 layer 3 switch which currently connects directly to a router that provides the Aveya telephony platform. My mission is to take the HP switch out and connect the router directly to our Cisco 3560 switch. For demonstration purposes I've included the topology.

I'm wondering how I would set the Cisco switch up. I'm not too familiar with voip so i have a few questions:

After creating vlan 20 and removing the ip route 'ip route 10.0.6.0 255.255.255.0 10.0.0.11' on the switch, what's the next best practice?

a) create an svi on vlan 20 - ip 10.0.6.254/24. For the interface facing 10.0.6.1 i create either a trunk or access port on vlan 20?

b) create a no switchport on the interface facing 10.0.6.1 and create it as 10.0.6.254/24?

Also, just a note, the IP phones are on static IP, example -

IP - 10.0.6.130/24

GW - 10.0.6.1

Any help would be greatly appreciated? Many Thanks
