I'm on version 2.3.7.9, previously 2.3.7.7.
I have notifications set up for Device Unreachable for Routers, Switches, WLCs, and APs. I've been noticing a lot of excessive notifications for those alerts. Most are, what appears to be, false alarms. Most of the alerts are resolved within a few minutes or less. I've logged into the devices and have not seen any evidence of the device losing connectivity. We have other monitoring software that doesn't see even so much as a dropped packet.
I'm wondering if there's something I'm missing or if these are truly false alarms. If they are false alarms is there a fix or alternative other than just disabling that alert/notification?
