If a company's firewall blocks a specific website URL, on user's computer, is pinging to this URL still working successfully?

- You can't ping an URL , only a (specific) address , icmp is another protocol , it is not hampered by http(s) access rules. If needed deny icmp-ping explicitly.

Hi Marce,
I can ping URL like this. may i know why you say i can't?
ICMP is not denied. It's a website URL that i can still ping okay, but can't open it saying "can't display".
