we are currently in the process of converting our telephone system to Voice over IP and integrating it into our DNA Center. In addition to the hardware IP phones, we would also like to use the Jabber soft client. The problem is that IP traffic between individual departments is rejected with scalable group tags. However, phone calls should be possible. In order to use the Jabber client we would have to adjust the "Deney IP" access contracts between almost all SGTs and enable the ports that Jabber uses for real time traffic. Due to security concerns we would like to avoid this. Does anyone have an alternative solution for this problem?
