After opening a TAC and still no solution the the issue we’re encountering. I decided to ask the Cisco community for help.

I have followed the guide provided in this community for extended node for IoT devices.

How to connect IoT Extended Nodes in SD-Access (SDA) with Cisco DNAC 1.3

When I get to the step to create my port channel and assign it to the interface of the FE the port channel is down state. Why? My interface is up attached to the po. I’ve tried multiple thing double check the config from the CLI  of the FE and match the config provided by the guide mentioned above.

I really have to clue at this point to look for to get this port channel up to start the PnP process for the extended node.

Thank you,

Sorry if this has already been tried but I did have to add this to the upstream physical port to force the channel up during PnP negotiation to force the channel up when only one of the physical interfaces of the two were up.   (if my memory is accurate).

interface TenGigabitEthernet1/1/2
switchport mode trunk
channel-group 1 mode desirable
