I intend to stack two Catalyst 1300-16P-4Xs. Not clear on requirements. This cisco vidio implies the 4X models to not features "hybrid" stacking? And does not mention anything about the SFP module required for the stacking? Is it required? Apparently its a very specific cisco SFP module required? But no mention in the documentation of what the SFP model number is. And there is not mention of the SFP requirement in the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aADaH38e_X8
Here is another Youtube that states as a fact the SFP modules are required or stacking, but also does not mention the specific cisco part numbers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvF_MDjbF6M
So, I have two Catalyst 1300-16P-4Xs ordered, intending to stack, and now do I need more parts?

Hello @hconant ,
you can stack the Catalyst 1300 series if they are from the same family as Cisco states and are running the same IOS version.
Stacking is supported on the following models:
SFP+ Port (if present)—The small form-factor pluggable plus (SFP+) are connection points for modules so that the switch can link to other switches. These ports are also commonly referred to as mini 10GigaBit Interface Converter ports. The term SFP+ is used in this guide.
The SFP+ ports (if present) are compatible with the following Cisco SFP 1G optical modules MGBSX1, MGBLX1, MGBLH1, MGBT1, as well as other brands.

The Cisco SFP+ Copper Cable modules that are supported in the Cisco switches are: SFP-H10GB-CU1M, SFP-H10GB-CU3M, and SFP-H10GB-CU5M.
You can also use 10G SFP+ modules like SFP-10G-T-X, SFP-10G-SR, SFP-10G-LR to name a few.
For a complete list of SFP modules, you can use the Cisco Optics-to-Device Compatibility Matrix - https://tmgmatrix.cisco.com/
Start by searching for one of the part numbers mentioned earlier and in the second page you can select from the left side menu your switch model and see all the compatible SFP modules with your switch.
For the configuration part, I like the CLI method described very well in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgA_beueS9c
