Need to implement a Transit VPC in AWS using CSR but there are a number of questions that the AWS marketplace site for CSR does not answer.
1. Is there support other than the forums?
a. Do you get a higher level of support after you sign up? I see a link to Groupware Tech but am not sure if they are providing aftermarket service, professional support or they are the software/product support arm of Cisco.
2. When trying to register for service it is unclear if subscription terms can be changed from hourly to yearly or if I use yearly and mess up the implementation do I get charged again if I blow away the AWS infrastructure and start over. Or are you only charged for the count you have at a certain time or over a given period?
a. I know that an hourly AWS EC2 Instance would only cost reserved rates if I launched it as on-demand and then bought a reserved instance, is this the same as yearly vs hourly? Does it hold true for the CSR software or only the EC2 instance?
3. All the CSR material acts as if the service includes 2 instances but the terms subscription, instance and EC2 instances do not appear to be used consistently. Further, if it is 2 instances you do not have the option to put the second instance in a different AWS AZ which would kind of defeat the purpose of having 2 unless it was for scale. Does a "subscription count" equal count of service (e.g. 2 instances) or EC2 Instance (e.g. 1 instance)?
4. If I select the application instance type at an annual term and later want to change it can I do so and if so how?
