Cisco has the ACI simulator that I use quite often when I want to try and tinker with API or other ACI related things. What the ACI Sim is lacking is a way to attach external devices to actually see endpoints show up in the fabric or see how ACI interacts with the outside world.
I'd like to make the request that ACI Simulator nodes be included in the refplat. This way we can add a spine, a couple of leaves, and an APIC to a lab, then plug routers/servers/etc into the leaves and lab accordingly.
Due to the substantial increase in resourced required for this, maybe it's part of the personal-plus license or something, but this would be a game changer in my ability to lab and understand ACI related concepts.
