After In-Place Upgrade to 2.8 controller login failed

Hi,

I´ve done a upgrade from 2.7.2 to 2.8.

After the upgrade the controller reboots the systeme.

Know I´m able to login to the CML-GUI.

But if I want to login to the controller I´m getting the following message:

"System is going down. Unprivileged users are not permitted to log in anymore. For technical details, see pam_nologin(8)."

Any help is welcome!

Hi @Volker Mueller Can you share the platform on which this CML VM is running? Besides, have you tried rebooting the CML again?

I use ESXi Version 7.0.3.
