Webex Desktop App Fails on HP Laptop

My company is currently deploying HP Elitebook Folio 1040 G3 laptops and Webex Desktop Application ver 33.3.5.4 proximity does not work.  We've updated audio drivers and attempted several removals and installations but it does not resolve the problem.  Cisco TAC stated to post her for assistance.  Thank You

I have updated the Webex desktop app to 33.6.4.15 and it did not resolve the issue.  The proximity portion of the desktop app still fails with both cloud and prem registered devices.  It appears to crash the microphone on the HP.  The mic is a Conexant ISST device on the latest drivers.

We have webex 33.6 and everytime we launch the Webex Desktop app, it breaks the Mic of the laptop.

 

 

Yes, it ended up being a driver issue on the HP laptop.  Probably related to the specific sound card we were using.
