3650 IOS-XE upgrade path

Is it possible to upgrade Cisco 3650 IOS-XE Denali 16.3.6 directly to Gibraltar 16.12.07?  Or do I need to do a sequential upgrade with all previous versions in-between?

Direct upgrade is supported.

 You can even for previously version like 3.x.xE. You can confirm that on the release notes for Gibraltar.
