I'm upgrading the firmware for my 3750X from version 12.2(55)SE5 to the latest version.
Can I directly go to the latest version or do I need to undergo any interim upgrades.

Hi,
You can go directly to the latest version provided you have enough free space on flash and enough ram for the release. Always check the release notes of the software you will install
Thanks

we have recently upgrade to 15.2.4E6 all stable as of now. so this is good candidate for upgrade.

Hi there,
You can install the latest no problems. DRAM/FLASH in these type of switches is fixed. Make sure you back up
the image you are currently using, it s a healthy practice. After that if you are familiar with the upgrades procedures, format the flash, then proceed to install the IOS upgrade you want.

Hello All,
After reloading the 3750 switch with new version i was not able to access switch with the my login credentials.
Only with the admin credentials i was able to login into the switch!
I thought its a first time so it may require the admin password, but now no users was able to access the switch except the admin account.

You have configured Radius for user authentication ? hope you have taken the backup config before upgrade, so please compare the config with running config, see any changes.
