AS configuration

Hi,

when configuring an AS, what dynamic protocols are assigned to the routers within the AS?

Which router with the AS do I connect to? When connecting to that router within the AS, does the EBGP have access to all the routes of the routers with in the AS?

Trying to understand how EBGPs access the ASes and how the advertisement is distributed to the EBGPs.
