Hello, I got 2x 5515-X and I want to upgrade their firmware before cluster deployment.
Device 1:
Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Software Version 9.6(2)
Compiled on Tue 23-Aug-16 18:42 PDT by builders
System image file is "disk0:/asa962-smp-k8.bin"
Device 2:
Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Software Version 9.1(1) <system>
Device Manager Version 6.6(1)
Compiled on Wed 28-Nov-12 11:15 PST by builders
System image file is "disk0:/asa911-smp-k8.bin"
1- I downloaded the latest version asa9-12-4-58-smp-k8.bin
2- I created a Fat32 usb and put the firmware in it.
3- I plugged the usb directly to ipsec device.
4- copy disk1:/asa9-12-4-58-smp-k8.bin disk0:
5- boot system disk0:/asa9-12-4-58-smp-k8.bin
6- reload
Am I correct?
For device 2, I have to upgrade to asa984-smp-k8.bin I suppose. Is that correct?
